Thoughts
Ahh... found sometime to chill out with my lappy~ Its rare these days....
The world is starting to scare me. All the things about september 11 being a conspiracy, that the US is planning to take over the world and stuff. And they do it by bombing their own country first..... It may all be wrong and just crap but all the what-ifs come to my mind. All the evidences make sense and what if their troubles were to come here? The prophesied 2012 may be caused of it? Ever seen all those apocalyptic movies? Lol, where on earth can i hide....
Weddings. Where people tie the knot, or themselves to each other lol. Last time whenever my mum tell me theres a wedding, I'm always only interested on the foood! But now, I'm thinking. Isn't it amazing that they can find their other half out of the billions and millions people in the world? Its already amazing enough that the one they love, love them back.
Aite, enough babbling, heres a story of a fisherman =P ciao~

Jealousy
The Fisherman.
An investment banker was at the pier of a small coastal village when a small boat with just one fisherman docked. Inside the small boat were several large yellow fin tuna. The investment banker complimented the fisherman on the quality of his fish and asked how long it took to catch them.
The fisherman replied, “Only a little while.”
The investment banker then asked, “Why didn’t you stay out longer and catch more fish?”
The fisherman said, “With this I have more than enough to support my family’s needs.”
The investment banker then asked, “But what do you do with the rest of your time?”
The fisherman said, “I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, take siesta with my wife, stroll into the village each evening and spend time with my family, I have a full and busy life.”
The investment banker scoffed, “I am a Harvard MBA and could help you. You should spend more time fishing; and with the proceeds, buy a bigger boat: With the proceeds from the bigger boat you could buy several boats. Eventually you would have a fleet of fishing boats. Instead of selling your catch to a middleman you would sell directly to the processor; eventually opening your own cannery. You would control the product, processing and distribution. You would need to leave this small coastal fishing village and move to a big town and eventually to the the city where you will run your ever-expanding enterprise.”
The fisherman asked, “But, how long will this all take?”
To which the investment banker replied, “15 to 20 years.”
“But what then?” asked the fisherman.
The investment banker laughed and said that’s the best part. “When the time is right you would announce an IPO and sell your company stock to the public and become very rich, you would make millions.”
“Millions?…Then what?”
The investment banker said, “Then you would retire. Move to a small coastal fishing village where you would sleep late, fish a little, play with your kids, take siesta with your wife, stroll to the village in the evenings and spend time with your family.”

EEE GYL
Back from GYL camp!
For those of you who didnt know, I went for EEE GYL camp at M'sia along with the CLS.
Basically it was a typical leadership camp, but it was more fun on the GALA night.
Ohh, theres paintball too, but when i realised the ability of the paint ball to go straight is very bad, it quickly became boring. Hitting the small cup targets were only by chance and the balls leave quite some bruises.
Compared to the CLS, our GALA night was very very high where everyone laughed till their guts came out. I guess it because we were mainly guys so we knew how to have fun ^^When we went up to the CLS room, it was so quiet and formal that we were struck by the change in atmosphere. Haha. Our dress code was pyjamas and theirs was formal. You can imagine the akwardness haha. When their GALA king and queen were doing the catwalk, they got a round of applause. When OUR GALA king and gay were walking, we did the PERERA wave haha.
In the end we decided to bring the party to their night by blasting music and started jumping up and down. That was the FIRST time in my entire history of SP that i felt that high. Everyone was. I literally just went up to 2 guys i didnt know, put one arm around each shoulder, wait 3secs for the choras and..... start shouting/singing it while jumping! Thats officially the fastest and weirdest way I made a friend haha.
My group name was "outcast" cause we all agreed we all have been outcasted before. We also agreed that since we were gonna be outcasted, we were gonna be a different breed of group. The most hyper. The most loudest. The most bonded. Haha and thats what happened. It went so well that half way through the camp, other group people began to join us during lunch, breakfast and dinner haha. Its been a while since I've been out with the guys only. Theres a different feel when theres no girls ya know. At first I was like "damn, no girls, its gonna be boring" but then the guys were talking about how its better cause girls from SB keep stabbing people in the back. No offense, EEE guys also stab people. But its more out in the open and not behind haha. Its fun anyways, get to go crazy and all, its the escape I was looking for =)

I didnt have time to wrap the presents and I think i forgot to take the tags off lol sorry!
Went kayaking as usual, tide was high, oil was slimy. Tried to do rolls again, think im starting to get the feel for sweep roll. Not bad... haha. Fought for plantoon dominance lol, something we must keep doing to keep the tradition! lol.
shit, still forgot to dubb the sea store key....
Went all the way to the other side of the country for Stephanie's BBQ~! [Lingy cheat my feeling.Lingy cheat my feeling.Lingy cheat my feeling.Lingy cheat my feeling.Lingy cheat my feeling.]
Helped her mum at the BBQ pit! She said i was handsome ^^ This is the second time she told me this. And this is the second time I met her! LOL. Her mum is very... lively lol. I had to make a conscious effort to remind myself she is not just a few years older than me. She is a MUM. Her Butter Prawns (which ironically has no butter in it) are still the best lol. Slacked with tootie and her mum while Steph and the kids go up lol. Tootie got drunk somehow and started dancing. My eyeballs shrank....
Listening to the rest talking bout their teenage troubles makes me feel like I want those troubles so that I can crap it out with them lol. Had ice-cream cake! Though I was more interested in the dry ice lol. It started bubbling when its placed in the water. Pool water of course haha. While everyone else were packing up upstairs, getting ready to go home, I was with tootie and Steph's mum downstairs talking ADULT stuff. Haha kidding. Was sent to mrt and I went wee wee wee all the way home~~

We treat different people differently for a reason.
Maybe because they always joke around so we take things they say as a joke even if they mean it.
Maybe because they are always serious so we take things they say seriously even if its a joke.
Maybe because they told you that you never listen so you take everything they say seriously and lost your ability to joke with them.
Maybe they told you that you have no sense of humor so to prove them wrong you laugh at everything they say.
Even if everyone say the same thing, each and everyone of us would get a different response. Some might laugh, some might believe. Some might ignore, while some might listen.
Is that fair?
Just because he is quiet so you don't tell him things even if he should know it. He'd be like a frog in a well, not knowing anything that is happening around him.
Doesn't that make him shut himself even more?
Maybe its something they said, or something that you assume they think.
How do you solve this problem?
Do you tell them people that they never listen, and everyone would take you seriously even when you tell a joke.
Then you'd have to tell them you're just joking, and they would never take you seriously.
Sometimes I think, if you confront the problem, it would only create more problems.

Handover was a success. Haha I guessed everyone had fun =) Somehow it didnt feel like the seniors were really gonna leave to me. Nevertheless it was great. Thanks to all the guys carrying the chairs and tables. Its really a pain-in-the-ass labour work. Appreciate it. Chi heng and Benedict too for coming to school today for only half an hour to help shift all the chairs and tables on a sunday morning haha. Sounds like we have no life =X

"We have so many masks we put on everyday that we realise we don't longer know which one is real."
Last paper! And I'm free~~! Still have to make police report of missing IC though I got everything back. Troublesome school. Looking back on past posts (as in way way back like 2 years ago) those times we're actually very carefree. Don't hafta plan for anything the next day (other than dreaded training) Guess its all in the process in "Growing Up".
I wanna go to the sea. Just stare at the waves, feeling the sea breeze and smelling the salty sea water. I feel strangely calm in the water. Its the next best thing to music. It lets my mind drift away...
Greatly in need of an escape. Not just from exams. Hmm, maybe Genting would help. Sleepless nights would be the best. Hopefully I'd get "The View" =P
Accept it and move on. The usual.
